At this very moment, I am looking for active or former World of Warcraft players who wish to contribute to my research. I am interested in personal stories of players to illustrate my theory, but I am also looking for players who wish to test and judge my developed add-on.
Of course contributions will not go unrewarded, besides my never-ending gratitude and a sum of 500g per player, I will be giving away a Gryphon Hatchling (or Windrider Cub) with an in-game companion to one very lucky contributor.
- Interviewees:
I am looking for World of Players from all ages, nationalities and gender, that want to share some of their personal experiences in and around the game with me. Being an avid player myself, we will mainly be talking about the importance of true identity and social relationships in your personal gaming experience. The interviews do not need to be face to face, but can be held through instant messaging or in-game, on a mutually agreed date and time, in either english or dutch.
- User Panel:
Being a part of the user panel means that you, as a World of Warcraft player, are asked to use my developed add-on when logged into the game. After a short period of time, we will chat about how you used and experienced the add-on, and how you think it can be improved. So basically you are asked to “test” the add-on through the various stages of its development.
Would you like to contribute to this research project by being interviewed or by actively using my add-on (or both)? Just fill in this simple form below and I will contact you by email. If you are still hesitating and have a few questions, just fire away and I will clarify.
