The master thesis is not only about conducting research and writing a qualitative dissertation. Part of my master thesis involves developing a technological solution to the needs exposed by previous research. In my case, this solution will be an in-game add-on (an extension of the existing user interface). Ideally this add-on will allow the player to establish and maintain (online) friendships from his or her true identity, and thus independent of the virtual character he or she is playing.
In this section I will regularly post updates about my current progression in the development of my own add-on.

I’ve made some layout changes to the view mode. I managed to get the picture and flag image to actually load inside the game, while for the mock-up version I had just added them in Photoshop. (Cheeky me… 
) I also made a nice tab system to switch between the edit and view mode.
